As Democrat Tim Walz seeks election to his third term as Minnesota’s 1st District representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, he’s seen a formidable challenge from Republican Randy Demmer. Continue Reading

Supporters of Tim must all be the same and only have one agenda. Stupidity…
Disgraced former lawmaker Dave Durenberger came out today in support of DFL Congressman Tim Walz.
In fact, Durenberger told press today the reason he was supporting Walz was because of his vote with Nancy Pelosi of Obamacare.
The Rochester Post-Bulletin reports:
He said he also backs Walz because of his support for the federal health care law. (RPB)
If you remember, Durenberger was a former US Senator that was reprimanded on the Senate floor for his unethical and borderline behavior while in office.
Durenberger has also backed IP candidate for Governor Tom Horner.
Here is a time line of Durenberger’s problems:
Durenberger’s Ethical Problems
April 1989 – Senate Ethics Committee decides to investigate Durenberger book deal and speaking arrangement.
December 1989 – Durenberger apologizes to the people of Minnesota for ‘mistakes he made’.
January 1990 – Senate Ethics Committee expands investigation of Durenberger to include condo deal.
February 1990 – It is revealed that Durenberger received favorable loans from a St. Paul bank.
February 1990 – The Senate Ethics Committee votes to pursue a trial-like investigation of Durenberger citing substantial cause.
May 1990 – The Senate Ethics Committee votes to expand trial-like investigation of Durenberger to include condo deal and misuse of blind trust.
June 1990 – Minneapolis and St. Paul papers both call on Durenberger to step down.
July 1990 – Ethics Committee unanimously recommends that the full Senate denounce Durenberger
July 1990 – On a vote of 96-0 the full Senate voted to denounce Durenberger. Durenberger is only the 9th Senator in history to be denounced, censured, or otherwise condemned.
January 1991 – Minnesota Supreme Court suspends Durenberger’s law license indefinitely
September 1992 – Durenberger sued for failing to pay his legal bills.
September 1993 – Durenberger decides against running for re-election.
December 1993 – Judge dismisses indictment against Durenberger.
February 1994 – Durenberger re-indicted by grand jury
August 1995 – Durenberger pleads guilty to charges
November 1995 – Durenberger sentenced to one year probation and fined $1,000

Walz voted with the extremists Dems way too often, even when he knew his constituents didn’t want him to! We cannot allow that. He still favors amnesty in some form, he thinks that just because they have gotten away with breaking the law for a number of years we need to reward them. NO Tim, .. You do not reward the lawbreaker because they managed not to get caught for years! Can’t allow that either.. There are many other things I could bring up but those two sink him for me… I am not a real fan of the republicans either but this time they are definitely the lesser of two evils! Voting for a third party you know can’t win would be a vote for the Dems so vote accordingly. In hind thought this post could apply to all Dems!
