“He said he would make another change. ‘Pace. My pace is about 150 mph all the time.’”
Perhaps this contributed to his multiple DUIs. How anyone could vote for a person who so recklessly endangered the lives of the very people he claims to represent baffles the mind.

How about that drunk Mark Dayton?

Mark Dayton abandoned his office after 9/11, reporting he was a target for Al Qaida. This man is a sissy.

How could anybody vote for a candidate for public office with a dui? Is that your question?
Do you know how many politicians have at least one dui? Do you know the percentage of the population that has one? What should be done with people who serve out the sentence of their crime? Shall we paint them yellow and crucify them publically instead of letting them go? Honest question.
There is no justification for a DUI. Regardless of how many politicians or percent of the population has at least one. Serve your time. Pay your fine. Expect people to call that poor judgement into concideration if you run for any office.
I definitely am not justifying or excusing a drunken driving conviction. I certainly wouldn’t attempt to lessen the gravity of it either. I hope that wasn’t misunderstood in my comment.
