Berg, Pomeroy on same side of flood protection
October 23, 2010 at 7:00 pm in INFORUM
Differences lie in proposed strengths each brings to issue
Flood protection is among the least contentious issues in North Dakota’s U.S. House race because there’s no debate on whether the candidates support or oppose permanent measures for the Red River Valley. Continue Reading

Well of course they’re on the same side with this issue! They are both politicians who value the vote more than anything else in this world. They would sell their souls to be elected and this one has too much baggage to ever find a reason to appear being in opposition of it. On rare occasion excessive pork barrel politics will allow a candidate the levity to object. This is why the tea party is becoming the latest rage. The entire purpose of their existence is to oppose the old status quo of crooked politicians and take back the country for the people. That’s why they support neither Democrats or Republicans. They support having a government for people, not for golden fleece paychecks and retirement funds.

Mr. Pomeroy has been standing on the dikes and having his picture taken for many years with no results. We have some critical area’s that need immediate attention, Fargo and Devils Lake and others. We need to do something instead of standing on the dike every year and than going back to Washington and do nothing. Mr. Rick Berg will get it done,,,,,Pomeroy has had many years of doing nothing for flood protection. VOTE BERG

Berg will get the same thing done in Washington as he is doing in ND. Lining his pockets with money. Vote Pomeroy

While I am in full agreement that Pomeroy has to go, I’m not very excited about Berg. More excited than the regretable Duane Sand, but not excited enough to pull the trigger. My biggest concern with Mr. Berg is how his company Goldmark, is directed to treat their renters. Goldmark knows they have the upper hand with these folks (low income and/or young folks just starting out) . They take full advantage of these renters through intimidation and unfair, borderline legal methods to keeep deposits. Cramer is an ethical man, and I was hoping he’d get the nod. Some folks are put off by his over the top arrogance (which is how he lost to Berg), but that shouldn’t reflect on Cramer’s record.

The only people I hear of who back Rick Berg is more of his political cronies, and probably campaign donors. His job in DC will be to help out his special interests, not ” We the People”. mid term exams on Nov 2nd, ND fails with a vote for Berg or Pomeroy. Elect someone who will represent all NDs the way we would expect. Write in my name and darken the oval. http://www.hendricksonforcongress.com

Pomeroy has done nothing for flooding? Tell that to Ramsey County, Devils Lake, and Grand Forks and you will be laughed at for the whatever you are. Berg has to be against fed speniding on the dyke or diversion and let the sate pay or he is a hypocrite.

If you wish politics as usual in ND, elect Berg or Pomeroy. If you want a positive change for ND write in my name and darken the oval. Check out my website at http://www.hendricksonforcongress.com . We cannot continue to have elite career politicians serving us in Dc. We have already seen how that works. And to have candidates who stay away from the tough questions, which means they wont be able to make the tough decisions. To get a Congressman who will represent ” We the People” vote for me, and tell your freinds, neighbors and relatives to vote for someone who cares about the direction of our state and country. We can do better, but it isnt with the Republican or the Democrat candidates for US House.
