Perhaps voting should be explained to these people before they are released on parole. That would eliminate the I didn’t know excuse.

Let’s see, they signed an agreement that they knew that they were not allowed to vote, but they didn’t know that they couldn’t vote?? Huh?? They don’t know what “voting” is?? Not sure that any amount of ‘xplaining would help. BTW, ignorance of the law is no excuse.

If you remove the ears of felons and refuse the voting to people without ears, would not that solve the problem? It seem so simple.
