Remember who voted them self a raise during a budget crunch. Think about priorities for county spending during hard economic times, county parks expansion should be at the bottom of the list. Convince me that the proposed commuter rail will financially pay for itself and not become another subsidy and that people will actually use it. Time for someone new.

All it took for me to know Myra needs to go was hearing how her mind was made up and that she knew better for our residents when adding that “small, tiny little 5 cents a gallon tax” to our gas, and apply the Legislature’s misguided new money grab. A tax that only applies to certain metro counties, not the entire state, that had the full support of her close friends in the Wakota Bridge transportation fiasco Katie Sieben and Karla Bigham. We’ve seen how many nickel here, dime there additions our government has rammed through without listening to what we citizens want and expect from them as our elected officials. It’s time to get some people who come to the table with fresh views and their mind not already made up to know better than the people who hired them. Some people specifically who know whose money it is. It’s not the government’s, it’s ours.
