That was a nice antique store. The suspects were pretty stupid to try to burn the place down when all they wanted was some ancient coins. Were they on drugs? I think so.. just sad that the owner now has to start all over again because of this unnecessary fire. Hope this never happens again. What is Alexandria coming to? These thieves and arsonists should be punished more.

Great story. Losing any local business in this manner is a bad thing. I do feel the story should have also made mention of the displacement and total loss of personal items of the renters in the upstairs apartments. The harm caused to these local citizens is just as tragic as the loss of the business. Even if the tenants were approached and declined mention by name or mention at all it could have been acknowledged in some manner that people had also lost their homes due to smoke damage.
