Our View: Congress’ language bill needed to clear up confusion

A federal bill based on common sense awaits approval from President Obama, and we wonder why it’s taken so long to simply get to this point.

HR 946 would require federal agencies to use plain language in their forms, letters and other documents. The bill would require each agency to establish an Internet site to publicize its push for clarity and receive public comments on documents that are poorly written. Continue Reading
