WATCH IT NOW: Exclusive Bristol Palin interview by Scott Hennen on Inforum

Exclusive interview inside!
Bristol Palin said she’d like to see her mother run for the White House, calling controversial former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin “awesome for this country.” Continue Reading

I suppose I’d be wise to watch the interview before I comment.

I have to say…at the tender young age of almost 20, I would not have had the nerve to endure the vicious criticism that this beautiful, young mother has subjected herself to. I don’t even know if I could have done it at 30. This kid has a BIG FUTURE.
Hot debate. What do you think?
14
19
Well, when you get between $5,000 and $30,000 per appearance, you somehow “get up the nerve”. However, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, intellectually: When Scott asks her abouts her “hopes and dreams” for her son, she replies that she “hopes he is healthy and plays hockey because our family loves the sport”.

Absolutely. If she applied herself to schooling and preparing for a career. I know several Moms that had their first child as a teen that are extremely successful and all on their own power. One put herself through law school, a few through regular college, a few went to trade schools. All are completely self-sufficient and wonderful women with healthy, productive children. Why so many have demonized this young woman just because she has a good, solid family supporting her is beyond me. The jealousy and cruelty defies imagination. Obviously there are many envious, victim/welfare-mentality types out there.
Hot debate. What do you think?
18
22
She is demonized because she is a big fat hypocrite! You can NOT expect teeanagers to listen when you tell them “do as I say, not as I do.” Has that ever worked for any parent? You lead by example, and she is an example of what can happen when you have sex before marriage: You get magazine covers, big checks for doing interviews, and a job on Dancing with the Stars.

Hey Forum,
I bet you are wishing that you hadn’t put your logo on the wall of that piece of poo.
I expected Hennen to self promote. I didn’t expect the ex-future half governor to be such a poor sport. Claiming that Tina Fey wasn’t perfect in the impersonation of Momma grizzly was ridiculous and petty. She tries a good little Republican, but where is her flag pin?
I wonder if she can see where the Republicans are sending America’s jobs from her house?
Like or Dislike:

If you actually knew Sarah Palin you would know, that while very very funny, Tina Fay was doing a charictiure of Palin. Not an inperonation. Commedians often do that, in particular with political figures. Or are you saying that those comedians who are portraying Our current President Obama as a self centered, egotistical, intillectual, bumbeling fool who is suberviant to Michelle and kisses her feet( or other parts) are a true and accurate portrait?
Like or Dislike:

Tina Fey’s caricature of Sarah Palin WAS overblown and overacted. That’s what Tina Fey DOES for a living. No, it was not accurate or perfect – caricatures aren’t supposed to be. The left is so terrified of Sarah Palin that they want a comedians “silly portrayal” of her to be real. It’s NOT REAL.
Oh, and that would be the Democraps outsourcing the jobs. This is OBAMA’s economy now. It’s far, far too late to blame Bush.

There’s that word. “Terrified.”
As soon as you say anybody is “terrified” of Sarah Palin, I automatically know you don’t have the slightest GD idea wtf you’re talking about.

If you people weren’t terrified of her you wouldn’t react so viscerally towards her. If she is so insignificant than you wouldn’t jump on the bandwagon of hate towards her and her family. Your comments were never even considered as worthy.
Hot debate. What do you think?
11
20
Mocking someone for being obviously unintelligent and dopey when answering questions has nothing to do with “terror.”
There’s no “hate” in laughing at someone who can’t answer a question about the last magazine she read.
She’s more than insignificant. She’s a side show that’s cute.
But saying it’s “terror” or “hate” is simply a lie by you.

As a woman in leadership and politics, I find both Bristol Palin and her mother infuriating. They both preach a message of discrimination and judgement. The theme especially from Bristol is listen to what I say but don’t pay attention to how I actually act.

17
Wrong Amy. She’s saying don’t follow how I ACTED not how I currently act. Put on your listening ears. She’s doing very well now for a 19 year old considering how she was thrust into the national spotlight to begin with. I certainly wasn’t that mature at 19. Bristol has learned from experience and now has something to pass on to other young ladies who may find themselves in the same circumstance. Now instead of broad generalizations give us actual examples of what Sarah and Bristol have said that constitutes a message of discrimination and judgement.

Soooooo…….. taking advantage of being the daughter of a VP candidate who pushed abstinence only, while getting pregnant by the appropriately named Mr. Johnson, and now making money by dancing and talking to other young women without her family and press resources…….
I do wish her well. But I still think she should be in school, preparing for the rest of her life. How many of the young women she talked to have her resources? I’m a loving grandma for two incredible adopted grandkids, so I believe in options. I have seen how hard it can be to be young, pregnant, and with NO resources. I don’t think a binary approach to sexuality (yes/no) works but I think those with advantages shouldn’t talk down to those without.

Strong women, one who commands respect based on her character, honesty, diplomacy, intelligence, and ability to get things done. Terrified of Sarah Palin! Do you mean like terrified of a grizzly bear or terrified of Bozo the clown? To be terrified of someone or something means they have to be a threat of some type. Sarah baby is no threat to anyone. Mental midget basking in the glory of a failed vice presidential run. If it hadn’t been for McSham, she would still be butchering reindeer. Polls show Sarah has little public support, even amongst Republicans. The reason she gets so much attention is the Bachman syndrome. Say outrageous untrue things that extremists want to hear and then revel in their cheers. I hope she runs for president but even the Republicans aren’t that dumb. I could see her appointed to a cabinet position. Like, “Sarah, put the dishes in the cabinet” or “Sarah, the liquor cabinet is empty again”. How about Secretary of Unwanted Pregnancies or Secretary of the “Old Navy”.

“You have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Matthew 5:27-28)
If Christine O’Donnell wants to clear her heart of lust, and encourage others to do the same, it is protected by the first amendment.
Her views on passing legislation on such matters?
“It’s personal,” a woman in the audience called out. “I agree, it’s personal,” O’Donnell said. She said her 1996 comments on the issue came when she was in her 20s and excited about her “newfound” faith. “But I assure you my faith has matured,” she said. “And when I go to Washington, D.C., it’ll be the Constitution on which I base all of my decisions, not my personal beliefs.” — Politics Daily

But they do for lots of people Bill. Because of the first amendment, anyone who believes these words are valid can share their thoughts with other people. You asked if it is morally wrong, or if God hates when you do it. I simply showed you the scriptural basis for Christine O’Donnell’s thinking.
There is a lot of debate about this in Christian circles. It is my view that it is not the act itself that is sinful, but the lust which accompanies the act. So, to answer your question, God does not like sin, and Jesus pointed it out saying that lusting after another is just as bad as committing adultery.
I further pointed out O’Donnell’s views about the government imposing such beliefs on its citizens, which she is against.
In summary, O’Donnell has a right to express her views on the subject, which I have thoroughly explained. Not only that, you have the right to dismiss her views, and live by whichever views you would like to adhere to, and I’ve also pointed out that that is O’Donnell’s position as well.

I’m not really sure what difference it makes to you, you have already said that Jesus words on the topic are of no importance to you. If that is what you think, then fine, I won’t stop you.

You may not know that she campaigned for her mother for two years. She was a great speaker. She didn’t have to use words like “awesome, you betcha, ya’know… She was articulate.

Dolph Lundgren [Rocky 4] also has a doctorate. I guess that means he deserves at least as much credit as Chelsea if not more. I guess the fact the Palins are “common people” like most of us disqualifies them from holding office. Only patricians should be allowed to hold any public office.

When did the Palin’s become “common people”? The reasons they shouldn’t be in office are to numerous to list.

Liberals are never satisfied. Sometimes they run down Sarah Palin because she didn’t go to an Ivy League school like Harvard but instead went where common people go namely North Idaho College. Then they complain about all her supposed wealth and privilege. Her husband Todd works as an oil field production operator and also runs a small commerical fishing operation which I believe Sarah has also assisted with. I do not think they were fabulously wealthy or privileged especially if you compare them to people like the Kennedy’s or Senators John Kerry or Jay Rockefeller. Representative Jane Harmon [D] from California is also fabulously wealthy. I think a lot of the resentment of Sarah Palin comes from the audacity of someone from a smaller city in Alaska daring to oppose the established Washington political machine.

Sundown, that is exactly it. There is a formula for becoming part of the elite in this country. You must have family money and be privileged. You must go to an ivy league school. If you do this, you have a chance to rule the rest of society because you are better than them. The audacity of this small town commoner coming in and threatening the status quo scares and irritates many people. Once that cat is out of the bag and common people can get into their elite club, they will lose their position of power and they cannot have that. This is why many people hate and fear Palin. They will say it is because she is imbecilic, and point to a couple speaking mistakes, but they will forgive the teleprompter in chief for not being able to say anything but ummm uhhh, without a script in front of him. Interesting.

“but instead went where common people go namely North Idaho College.”….actually she went to 4 colleges…just to get her bachelors. Real winner there. The fact she is a moron has nothing to do with her being “common”.

Chelsea becomes a role model because we all know, actions speak louder than words.
She’s doing exactly what we expect of all young people and doing it better than most.

Where did you detect hate? I simply do not agree that she is a role model. Did you mistake me for a tea bagger? I am not.

Emily’s use of the word “tea bagger” shows how seriously we should take any of her opinions. Not very.

There it is! There is the hatred! Using an explicit derogatory term to define those who believe in the Constitution.

Shes making a lot of money off her immoral mistake and many think shes sending a good message out to the young women in America.
Maybe if we ignore the little tramp she might fade into the woodwork hopefully with her mother!

Oh, and that would be the Democraps outsourcing the jobs. This is OBAMA’s economy now. It’s far, far too late to blame Bush.”
ROTFLMAO!!!!
Wasn’t it the Republicants that shot down the bill last week that would punish companies that send jobs overseas? Not one voted for the bill, so I would say it is on their shoulders if you lose a job to the Chinese.
It sure would be nice if the U.S. could re cooperate some the 3 billion Bush allowed Cheney to overcharge the U.S. for cleanup in Iraq!! IT WILL NEVER BE TOO LATE TO BLAME BUSH!! LOL!

I don’t think someone who copies another commenters name and takes that persons avatar deserves to be taken very seriously Hambo bob. I only know Rambo from this Forum but his conservative comments are excellent. Liberals are envious of conservatives which I guess must be the reason you are copying Rambo. You’re still just a pale imitation.

To my earlier comment about the Clintons I want to add that I’m betting Hillary Clinton’s supposed loyalty to Obama is going to go right down the drain once she realizes she can kick BO’s can in the 2012 primaries.
