It would seem that a logical question to Mayor Ness or the council would be – Why do you not want to discuss extension? Hiding behind government speak such as “The land is listed in the city’s comprehensive plan as a “master planning area.†is not very informative. Is it the noise from racing? Please Mayor Ness – tell us what is really going on????? EchoPress- why are you not asking some questions?????

I’m sure it is to do with the race track, but I also think they want to expand the city some more. If you noticed they have been building more buildings these past few years now and I think they will make something into the fairgrounds. The fair hasn’t been a great success lately either. The property is pretty big, but its a perfect setting and location still for the fair and for storage. Also, close to races if you want to walk there from the fair and close to downtown area. Its too bad. I was expecting this. Too many changes are being made here.
