I will agree with you that students need to step up and stay for the whole game. You want to support your school and your team? Stay put.

There are plenty of season ticket holders that either don’t show up or leave early as well. I don’t think the students deserve to be treated any differently. They are paying customers as well. Perhaps once the student alotment of tickets is used up they should be sold heavily discounted general admission tickets.
