Are there no Hispanics in the area? I know I saw and spoke with some in Wal-Mart when I visited the area this summer. Why no mention of Muslims living in the area? How about all the Germans, Swedes, Danes, Norwegians and Bohemians? Are they no more than generic “white people?”
Personally, I find this forced-smile diversity no more than a politically correct gimick to make some people feel better about their own guilt. I am offended by it.
America has historically been a melting pot of diverse peoples and cultures. We have rejoiced in it. Now there are some people who think they know everything better than those of us who have always enjoyed diversity and love for our fellow members of the human race. We have lived it every day of our lives.
