I agree with what you’re saying but let’s not paint too rosey a picture here. While texting and following too close may make a trucker nervous, looking in my rearview mirror and seeing nothing but the bottom half of a grill is every bit as nerve wrecking. It’s bad enough how motorists tailgate on the highways, endangering the lives of everyone in their own vehicle, my vehicle, and every other vehicle in the vacinity should I have to make a sudden stop. Imagine what whould happen if I had to stop suddenly with an 80,000 pound rig, requiring even more distance to stop than your average car, breathing up my rear. It’s a two-way street, no pun intended.
