Maybe the financial directors of Spirit Mountain could advise them how to make a profit.

Sad day for yet another resort, and the Cable area.
Maybe some big resort out west will get it and keep it as a breeding ground for future winter and biking enthusiasts. Tony Weiss was a man ahead of his time.

This property has always been “under a cloud of dark smoke” , going way back to the 1960′s when Tony Wise was indicted of bribing public officials.

Maggie, I don’t know who this Tony Weiss is whom, you say, was “way ahead of his time”, but Tony Wise was the founder of Telemark and was a crook. He was convicted of bribary of a public official and swindled many other people. I personally know several people who were swindled by him. Telemark was, and has been, a financial trainwreck from it’s inception through this latest fiasco.

Moral of the story: If you are going to build a sky resort, build it next to a hill.
