Bummer – unfortunately there is not good logic – I have heard that factors such as which political party the dealership owners gave to and other crazy stuff also came into play. Regardless the process resulted in some illogical decisions. I hope Lee Motors prospers under its new business model.

The government should have just let GM fail. We, the taxpayers, shouldn’t be expected to bailout any company that can’t survive on its own. God bless Bumper Lee and Lee Motors, and I hope they continue to do well.

I don’t imagine that “Cash for Clunkers” did anything to help our used car people stay in business either. That took used cars off the market for people that couldn’t afford new vehicles with no regard for all of the businesses that depended on used car sales, parts and repairs. Just who did that benefit?
