How is it that the group from LLMP can demonstrate that our county tax levy can be reduced for public health, the current public health director (who would lose his job) still recommends that Nobles go with LLMP, and yet Mr. Ruppert and the board vote to increase our tax levy? Now, after hearing that we could have even more services for less money, the board turns a potential new partner away in spite of the facts? When is the Globe going to ask the tough questions. Taxpayers, clients, and staff lose, Mr. Ruppert wins.
