Lets hope the legislature opens with the spirit of accomplishing whats best for the state, not partisan driven gridlock.
I notice the majority of what they are addressing is gamboling issues. Is this a problem?
I for one would like them address the watershed issue, specifically what they intend to do with the excess water from Devils Lake, the Missouri, and the RR Valley flooding.
This is a state issue, not a federal issue, and the Army Corps of Engineers take the wrong approach which always ends up in a very bad design for our states community.
The Diversion of the RR is a bad idea, and not thought out at all. We should be building water reservoirs that contain the water and use it for urban supply, recreational and irrigation purposes; not sending the bulk of it to Canada where they don’t even want it.
