My Name is Vertigo, and I am a Cyber Addict. I choose the unhealthy past time of posting on blogs instead of the healthy activities of catching STD’s in a drug and alcohol induced haze in loud bars like normal people do.
Yes, I choose to spar with political ideologists (both right and left) instead of spending hours of time on the golf courses, or killing fish with large hooks. My learning the sports statistics and watching the Redhawks and the Vikings games has suffered; my collection of large #1 pointing fingers has become outdated.
I know I am wrong to not spend my time alone baking fattening foods for my kids, and watching soap operas, but I cannot help myself.. and take solace in the small respite of having total flexability in spending actual time with them when they are out of school and available… what little time that may be.
Yes, I am a cyber addict, and I vow to spend my time better… even if it means spending large amounts of money on golf clubs and seasons tickets to sports events that my kids are not old enough to attend……
