Pawlenty clearly has shown he does not care about the people of Minnesota. This is a purely political choice and we will suffer from it. He needs to think about Minnesotans and not his presidential run.

Also why turn down 850k that requires no additional state funds for sex ed? Yet he chose to pick a program that fits his personal beliefs, limits education, and costs the state money. When I was a kid we had sex ed in the 5th grade. Abstinence was pushed very hard in the class before the discussion of safe sex occurred. Also after seeing all the pictures of what STDs can do to you, you really did want to abstain from sex. Even as a teenager those images stuck with me and made me have safe sex.
