Saw a good sized momma up near W Skyline and 7th. Then she spent an evening eating and strewing my garbage around the backyard. Sure loves takeout…

Big deal! Take in bird feeders at night and take in your garbage- or just sit and enjoy them- their antics are funny. Berries dried up fast this year and they will go where they can find food- Ship them to Ely where they are loved. When I hear a bear climbing up our tree I get the spotlight and watch it- it looks up at me as if to say,”Thanks for the light – I can see a lot better.” When it is done it lumbers off- I have had they within feet of me eating dried dog food, and walking through our yard when I am out watering. I have been picking berries and have had one walk within 10 feet of me-

Last night my little Rat Terrrier chased a 150lb bear up a tree in our yard. It was a little scary, but quite humorous. Guess it’s time to keep the feeders in at night.
