you dont have to be sherlock holmes to see the clues. first of all it is not the pawlenty administration’s fault, or the ventura administration either. this problem has been building for many years. and most obviously, it takes money that the state doesn’t have. raising taxes, and spending money isn’t the whole answer. the answer is to build roads and bridges that are durable and will last. tough to do in a climate where it is minus 30 in the winter and 95 in the summer, concrete and steel expand and contract a lot more than you think during temperature changes. so use some other materials or different methods. what we are doing is supporting an existing industry that is obsolete.
