House being built, community center planned

Since 1872 Catholics have been in the James River Valley. Since 1914 they have had the church, which has been designated a basilica, and in 2012 the church’s facilities will be improved for future generations to come.
Work continues to the south of the St. James Basilica where crews have started the first of four projects, the building of a house for the three priests.
