A unique sports experience: Special Olympics teams prepare for state games

Athletes from Special Olympics Region 12 are preparing for the upcoming state unified soccer games on Sept. 11-12 at Grand Forks.
Twelve athletes and seven volunteer partners from the Dickinson community have been running drills and playing games on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings on a field near the Optimist park.
