I think it is pretty obvious that the same person(s) responsible for cutting down the Honking Tree are now responsible for destroying yet another scenic North Shore landmark. What are they doing to stop this?

Arches like this fall down naturally all the time. It just happens. Eventually, it just becomes to weak to hold the arch up, and it collapses. It happens all over the world.

I don’t think the actual cause has been determined, just the “most likely”, or “most natural”.
I’d like someone with the credentials to actually examine the fallen arch to see if it was natural, or man made.

I’ve made a few phone calls, sent some TXT messages, and it looks like I’ve assembled a crew of 4 other to go take a look this weekend. I’ll update what, if anything, we find.

I think it was destroyed by savage loons pecking away at it. They knew people liked it, that’s why they destroyed it. It’s possible Rosie O’donnell may have climbed up and sat up there.

I’m sure there is money available for a multimillion dollar study of why it fell down. Gravity being the cause is too simple.
