Monarch butterflies are just another exotic insect that GF residents think is expendable? Why no mention in the editorial of the Monarch as an endangered migratory species? Multiply the use of mosquito spray over 100s of cities in the monarch migration routes and we can see why extinction is where they’re headed. The loss of forest at their Mexico destination means our spraying of them cannot be taken so lightly.

Hey Spearman, we finally agree on something.
I’d add, don’t forget the bees, which are disappearing everywhere and that we humans need to survive if we want to eat fruit and vegetables, like say, apples, oranges, and so on.
Peace to everyone, and my fellow humans, and the bees and butterflys, dragonflys, and little birds which are all victims of the mosquito fogging too.
