An early morning of heavy rain not only left puddle and mud for Pierce County Fairgoers to avoid, but it also postponed the truck pull until Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. and canceled the annual horse pull altogether. That left the grounds pretty quiet Friday night except for the familiar sounds of auctioneer Jack Hines and the 4-H/FFA Livetsock Auction in the Arena Barn where Bay City’s Paige Nelson smiles as she displays her beef cow.
