“Construction firms cut jobs for the third straight month, losing 11,000…” What? What happened to that porkulus money for roads, etc? Must have been in the “saved job” category!!!

I believe they’re talking about building construction, not road construction. Housing.

Really, housing? Where did it say that? Guess you can read minds? You might be right, but the article just says construction! We both may have jumped to conclusions.

Might be something local?
I know that around this area, there’s a LOT more unemployed ‘nailbenders’ than there are unemployed road crews. Lots of roadwork going on. Half of Long Prairie is tore up, and there’s several road jobs going on around Alexandria.
I wouldn’t even think of driving to the Twin Cities this summer, from the road reports on the TV stations down there.

Story tells us that pres b o ‘s administration missed or made a mistake and over 60% less jobs were made from the 81,000 lie they told us. Also not listed in this story , generalissimo pres b o didn’t tell the truth for June unemployment figures , think they said 187,000 new lost jobs where as it was over 400,000. pres b o with help from his pinions will feed us Americans all sorts of untruths. Why? you ask, other than it is their daily way of propaganda , it also is a election year . my comment, take what THEY feed you with a grain of salt. After all, over 78% of Americans find him untrustworthy.
real easy to understand why, isn’t it?

No, it isn’t harold.
Especially until you learn to type with more than two fingers, if that. I’m beginning to appreciate the amount of work you put into your misguided posts, but I still think you are falling for some of the most appalling garbage that was ever put on the net.
harold, this is the 21st century. PLEASE try to join the rest of us, won’t you?

After voting for Mark Dayton I would qualify now as a whack job liberal. I would say all the good news in this column is evidence of a strong recovery. Obama’s policies are working very well.
