MORGAN One candidate grew up on a farm, one in a rural community and one sat on the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee.

Tom Emmer – “I voted for the issue before I was against it.” A virtual yo-yo on the issues.

r. o. you loved that statement –voted for , then against— when bill clinton, al gore, peterson, and most the Democrats used it in a election year. Why are you on you soap box now preaching that isn’t the way do do it.?

Harold, it’s wrong any way you cut it – if Democrats do it or Republicans. Which side of Emmer’s position on ethanol do you support, Harold? I would love to see your defense of Emmer’s two-faced way of describing his Ag policy.

r o you have defended more DFLers for being two-faced than anyone else. I can’t hold a candle to that record, so won’t try. My comment , r o , when you(and other DFLers do it ), it is find and dandy, when others , not so.

You seem to only comment on Republicans. A little biased newspaper man?

Kevin, you always have to make things personal, do I try to dig out your daytime job into the discussion? You are a disgusting fella. Not only that, but what you are saying is a lie. Go read the threads where I slam Dayton and Entenza. And then try to grow up, please?

Emmer first said he actually voted for those mandates, then corrected himself to say that he had voted yes on some measures and no on others. Harold, the point is – he can’t even remember his own position on ethanol or biodiesel mandates. On such a key issue to farmers, it’s a big slap in their face that Emmer can’t decide how he stands on biofuels.

For one thing, the story came from the Gillfillan Estate, not Morgan or Redwood Falls. For another, in my opinion, from his record, I’d say that Emmer is only interested in the kind of ethanol that comes in a glass with ice and a twist of lime.

Kevin, why can’t you comment without getting personal? It’s like you can’t help yourself. Do I bug you about your day job? Get real dude, you don’t get my newspaper and you don’t read my editor’s columns, one of which that I made a point to blast Mark Dayton 3 months ago. Just setting the record straight, since you cannot.

Randy- Sorry, I call them like I see them. You are right, I don’t read your editor’s columns. I only read what you write here, which is very biased. If your columns are anything like what you write here, I don’t want to read them. Maybe I’ll check them out and let you know what I think…

Randy- I checked out your newspaper web site. I’m sure your readers love what you do/write, but I’m not really interested in what’s happening in Herman or Hoffman. You keep up the good work though. BTW, I couldn’t find your blast against Dayton, but I’m sure it’s there somewhere if you say it is. Good day sir!

Randy- So, I looked through the last six weeks of your comments and found 1 that you might say was a little critical of a Dem. Good for you. I stopped counting the ones critical of Repubs! Anywho, like I said, I surely won’t call you biased anymore. Good day sir!
