“Minnesota, who is swimming in a sea of red ink is #2.” And how long will they be able to sustain that? Not very long considering the amount of their children’s future they are spending. I guess 38 other states who spend much more generously on welfare don’t care about kids either. You can actually feel your intelligence lowering as you read that article.

Where was the concern for ND’s kids back in 2001 when ND sidestepped an increase in the dependent deduction by uncoupling from federal income taxes? I didn’t hear a peep out of ND’s media monopoly then. Why the crocodile tears now?

I like how the article makes people who may not make a ton of money as diseased and unhealthy. Because money is after all what makes you happy.
