The festival was overpriced for what was offered. Also would be nice if it incorporated other related nearby events (such as the pirate treasure exhibit).

It took two hours to get off the point. That wasn’t a problem. I expected that. What really detracted from the ships coming in was the hornet’s nest of tour helicopters hovering at mast height and doing acrobatics for the benefit of their passengers. If I recall from my pilot days they need to remain 500 feet away from crowds or structures except for takeoff and landing. They clearly violated those rules in this case. Regardless of the rules, it was a huge distraction. Other than that, it was a grand event!
