What a positive change from a few years ago! Drove down directly from the Mall about 2 PM- traffic was light & moving along. Parked easily for $5 & walked about 2 blocks to the area & paid $6 to get in – absolutely everything under control and moving along- easily to get up close to see the ships. Lots of porta-potties and water available for $1- food booths. A very positive experience. Even Capt. Sparrow wanted me to run away with him to sail the 7 seas- hahaha- what fun!!! The characters in costume walking the boardwalk is a great touch. Won’t tour as we already toured the ships a few years ago- that was enough for us.

I know the winters are as brutal or more so than GF’s, but I think Duluth is stunningly beautiful and am surprised it hasn’t grown faster than it has.
