Good luck Jenna, we need a change, and its about time you decided to get into the race. Lets all remember the fox urine, and the vindictive behavior of the CA office in trying to get some kind of conviction for a man merely protecting his property. I can say its time for a change!

Jena although there is not many comments on this site, there are plenty of people I know ready to vote Beccue out of office, including some veterans who were not happy about his office going after the mans son who was in Iraq. This was not about the law, no matter what Beccue stated or anyone else in his office said, it was about looking bad in public opinion for rushing to judgment, so this was merely a way to make sure they got even with Wagner, by going after his veteran son for night vision goggles the military did little about when the kid told them he had them. Sad state of affairs that this man was only trying to protect his property without violence, yet the prosecutors office didn’t back him. The teens involved had connections and were probably related to the whose who of the community, which is why not one of them received a citation for vandalism or tresspassing! The problem here is this type of vandalism is excepted, and yet even with a proeprty owner demanding something be done about it, the prosecutors office felt the need to go after him instead of putting a stop to this practice, having a backbone, because these incidents do anger some resident.

Jimmy, the best comment on this id Brad Junkermeirers. That not being privy to or reading the files he has no comment. Which is what everyone who has not read should respond.

Jimmy, your posts contain several factual errors, let’s correct a couple of them now. You stated “The teens involved had connections and were probably related to the whose who of the community, which is why not one of them received a citation for vandalism or tresspassing!” The fact is ten juveniles involved were charged, successfully prosecuted and ended up pleading guilty. Apparently a lot of people still don’t know this, and for some reason the West Central Tribune is trying to bury this part of the story.
You further stated “the prosecutors office felt the need to go after him instead of putting a stop to this practice”. If you read the statutes provided in the complaint you will see that what Mr. Wagar admitted to was almost word for word in direct violation of them and he deserved to be charged. If a jury wanted to acquit him because they felt sorry for him that’s fine, but he deserved the charges. The fact is the County Attorney not only successfully prosecuted the juveniles, which is not an easy thing to do with the laws that are in place to protect them, but he crafted an ordinance that the County Board could pass which gives law enforcement another tool it can use to stop this sort of nonsense in the future. If anyone consistently did the right thing in this matter it is the County Attorney Boyd Beccue.

Jenna Fisher is the epitome of someone who stands for justice and will make an excellent County Attorney. First off you need to have common sense in that position. In my opinion that is something that Mr Beccue lacks. Regards the Fox Urine case, thank heavens District Judge Michael J. Thompson had some common sense and put an end to Mr Beccue’s blunder. In my opinion the duty of a public prosecutor or other government lawyer is to seek justice, not merely to rush to judgment and convict.
Good luck Jenna!!
