AMEN! this article was excellent….well said. I think in general we are about 10 years behind the times here which is why smoking is only partaken in for the most part anymore by dinosaurs –inconsiderate dinosaurs.
Next stop on the “wake up out of your coma tour“: yard chemicals. I am hearing that the thinking people on the (east coast anyway) who are flocking to places like Whole Foods are finding the entire “soak down your yard and stick a flag on it” to be a bit of a conflict with a desire to maintain good health and the organic food trends….And you’d think the farmers here would look into organic farming considering the prices those foods are commanding? I guess they are too busy trying to find a parking place at the clinic.

As a Californian, I must apologize for the behavior of my fellow Californian. His is the kind of behavior that makes people cringe when a Californian moves into the neighborhood.
We are not all like that. Many of us are quite content to enjoy our tofu and soy milk without requiring our new neighbors to live on tofu and soy milk also.
