Grand Forks complaint similar to Fargo case that ended in $1 million class action

Do you realize how unbelievably reckless you have to be with an automobile to get this charge? The fools are trying to say that a $164 fine is too much? What a joke! This is taking advantage of a legal loophole at its best. Might as well say BP isn’t guilty of anything because proper paperwork wasn’t filed because of a misspelled word. The people who pushed this class action lawsuit some time back are the cull of our society. A $30 fine is a joke. Many states have minimum of over $300 for a simply speeding ticket. Wake up people. Our fines are a joke and that’s why they should be increased.

I have to agree! Our fines are a farce. No deterrent to slow down in North Dakota with the rediculous fines. Minnesota at least makes you think twice before pushing that accelerator down further. Besides, what the heck is the big hurry?

Here’s an idea. If you don’t want to get a fine, STOP BREAKING THE LAW!
I still haven’t been able to figure out why either one of those two cases saw the light of day. Fess up, pay your fine, and be done with it….Stop putting the rest of us in danger because you are too ‘important’ over the rest of us…
