A good show on TV last evening! However, my favorite onion rings were from the London Inn.

I love Gordy’s but that segment was pretty boring. The reason I like these food shows is all the interesting stuff that people do. Gordy’s, while having great food, is nothing that other places are doing all over the country. It’s drive in food, pretty simple but delicious.

I agree Stuart, though I don’t think their burgers are anything special to feature on national television. The last few I have had in the last couple years have gone downhill in quality and size. In sharp contrast, I think their fish sandwich is spectacular, and well worth the approximated $5 price since you always get enough to take home and make a second hearty sandwich.

I enjoy watching Triple D, but the comments above and the show made it pretty clear that Gordy’s is a fun place to eat, but isn’t what some make it out to be.
The Smokehaus in Canal Park though? – That show was different. You could tell Fieri was impressed with that place, as he should have been.
