Why would the guy on the bike pass the car then slow down so quickly that the car could not avoid running over him? I wonder if something was wrong with the bike or something else happend.

There was nothing wrong with the bike, there was everything wrong with the car driver. He was drunk. and the bike driver did not “slow down so quickly” that the car driver “COULDNT” avoid him, the car driver did this on purpose in his intoxicated state of mind. or at least i hope it was just his intoxicated state of mind. Fortunately for the driver of the car, the other person is going to be ok. He was released from the hospital yesterday and will take at the very least, 2-3 weeks to recover. he can barely walk and has some pretty severe back leg and neck pain. The car driver is now sitting in jail, as well he should be.

Thanks Millissa I was thinking something wasn’t being said in the article. The article said, “According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Naderi, who was driving a motor-cycle, passed Nelson in the left lane of the highway. He then returned to the right lane and slowed.” I didn’t want to suggest the driver was drunk or that road rage may have been involved, but it sure sounded like one or both was a possibility. I hope the guy recovers quickly and the driver loses his license.

New information on this: The victim has been returned to the er as of last night with more injuries presenting themselves and as of this morning was in for an MRI which we are now awaiting the results. He’s still in amazingly good spirits though and we’re all saying prayers for him. If you believe as we do, please also say a prayer for him. (if you dont, i promise we wont hold it against you
) Thank you!
