I would think all would agree with removing these caps. $75 million doesn’t seem to even begin to cover the damages caused by a disaster such as this. The inability of BP to fix this and the resulting destruction to the environment, ecosystems, jobs, and livelihoods needs to not be capped. If this ends up with BP going bankrupt, so be it. I have a feeling there are plenty of other companies ready to fill the void. I just hope they are held accountable and pay for the damage before they file for bankruptcy. I fear this will end up like the Exxon Valdez spill and they will be let off easy and the people who live near the Gulf will be the ones who end up suffering.

I couldn’t agree more, Kerry.
I’d like to see BP held accountable for every dime. Cleanup costs, lost jobs/wages, every cent.
Better still, I’d like to see the management imprisoned by the world court.
