Romney stumps for Berg, Hoeven in Fargo

Former Massachusetts governor and 2008 presidential candidate Mitt Romney energized North Dakota Republicans by offering enthusiastic endorsements for the party’s top candidates Wednesday in Fargo.

This event’s focus sure changed! Initially Romney was coming in to stump “for his PAC” as the political spin would say, but “campaign for 2012″ was the unspoken, and obvious reason. Both Hoeven and Berg were both invited, but were specifically told they would be (no more than) guests. So it was good to see that he down played his focus and gave plenty of time to Berg & Hoeven. But isn’t it amusing how out of state pols come in and stump for candidates they have likely never met before? They skim a brochure as the plane is landing and then talk about the candidate that they are stumping for as having “our values” and this and that, like they grew up next door to each other and were college roommates!

Isn’t it funny how Berg has Mitt Romney come and stump for him? Isn’t Mitt the man who created the health care reform bill by first enacting the same program in Massuchusets? Republicans are hypocrits.

Also, how about Romney’s switch from Pro-Choice to Pro-Life and spending increases as Governor?

I hope Berg gets elected. Then you will see him for what he really is. What is he going to do about the ag giveaways? Is he going to cut social security like the repubs want? My guess is that he will vote for what gets him elected and that isn’t going to be for cutting spending. He may cut taxes in the Republican way and then just run up the debt by failing to cut spending which is also the repub way ala dubya. If he doesn’t vote to eliminate ag giveaways he is a hypocrit. If he doesn’t vote to get rid of social security and cut medicare he is a hypocrit.
