Who said it was an illegal activity? It could be that he went to drinks and had a ‘sleep over’. It then leaked out and that’s that.

Here is a direct quote from the story: “Ford said Minnesota State Mankato campus security and the City of Mankato Police Department investigated the incident, but the female involved didn’t want to press charges.”
That would indicated illegal activity.

There is a difference to being illegal and inappropriate. An adult coach spending some overnights while at a youth camp needs to stay out of bars and keep his pants on. If you can’t go a week without self gratification-get out of coaching.

Whatever it was, if it was inappropriate enough to be investigated, and serious enough to lead to dismissal, I’m glad for the precaution to protect the young women in the program. Back in my day, we had a couple of downright predatory teacher/coaches, but the good old boys in our school district did nothing.

Anita, he had been kicked out of ND hockey too?? That is very sad and disturbing and I am sorry to hear that our school systems do not have better background checking systems to protect our kids!
