Berg & Hoeven are boxed into an unfortunate corner here. They are basically told that they are invited BUT will be nothing more than “guests” of the event. In another words- worded more strongly, this is about “Mitt” and only about Mitt. Yet if they don’t go to this event, then they look like they are thumbing their nose at the party.
