Former ND governor Art Link dies at age 96

Former Gov. Art Link of North Dakota has died. He was 96.
The office for Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., confirmed Link passed away.
Link was born in Alexander, N.D., and served as the state’s 27th governor. He was elected in 1972 and served two four-year terms. Continue reading…

A great man. Drew Wrigley guest hosted one of talk shows awhile back and talked very admirably about him as a great North Dakotan who did a lot for the state.

Only 6 days after Art Linkletter died. Linkletter was 97 and Link was 96. Can’t say I know much of anything about either of them. I will take Scooter’s word, as well as all those quoted in the article that he was a good North Dakotan.
