A dog owner says his golden retriever is more interested in high-definition television than a standard set.
Sounds like the opening to a bad joke at a veterinarians convention. But that’s the line from Riley’s owner, who happens to be Forum News Director Steve Wagner. Continue reading…

I also think my cat is hooked to my Hi-Def TV. He was hooked on 24 and would always come downstairs to watch it when it was on, including the 2-hour series finale. He also loves gazing at the Wii hand cursor on the main menu screen when that is on and will follow it around like it is a toy.

My cat, Punkin absolutely loves watching Big Cat Diary on the Animal Planet. We have a 50 inch Plasma what we have on an enormous entertainment center that we have hooked up to surround sound etc. When the cats roar or whatever she feels as though she is out in the big mighty jungle. It is hilarous to watch her get all excited. She doesn’t know which way to go. Through the screen? Behind the screen? On the screen? We rescued her so she has the insane instinct to always want to hunt so watching her watch Big Cat Diary it is hilarious. It is sad though because sometimes we want to know her story but othertimes we don’t because we know she has been abused. We have watched her the past 2 years progess and it is amazing. Someone cut her tail off and hurt badly. But watching her progress to this loveable yet timid when it comes to hunting watching TV is amazing. Also one last thing.. Her and NASCAR.. Too funny!!! She paws at the screen and watches it sometimes for hours… It is the best!

Forum, you are dangerously close to the line with the drug reference headline there. Might want to ease back a bit. Sincerely, the pun police.
