Wow! I wonder how fast most of these people were going. I’m really amazed at the number of speeders! My pet peeve, personally, are people who turn left into the far right lane.

Good job Fargo PD. Thank you for keeping our streets safe for the construction workers. Speeders deserve their tickets especially when the speed is already reduced because of people present.

With all the warning that they gave. Every one that got a ticket deserved it. The police told every one for days that they were going to be there.

Good job, it needs to be addressed. Other states have adopted this law decades ago, yet we are so behind the times when it comes to safety that more lives have to be lost before we finally say this is enough, put on the seat belt or get a ticket. There are other safety features we are way behind the times on, like people riding a motorcycle without helmets, you have got to be insane, do you know how hard and unforgiving that pavement is the human body.
Hot debate. What do you think?

Instead of people always being concerned with people on motorcycles not wearing helmets, START SEEING MOTORCYCLES! This is the most dangerous town I have driven in because people do not pay attention. Yesterday I almost got run into by a lady who pulled out from a stop sign, I stopped 2 blocks later when she pulled into a parking lot and kindly asked her what happened. She said she never even seen me. I ride a Very Large Harley Davidson and am a big person, if she didnt see me then there is no way she would have seen the bicycle or pedestrian. Please people PAY ATTENTION!

I’m all for this enforcement. Left unchecked, you’ll have chaos. The fines should be alot more. Send a message to lawbreakers. I’m not sure, but don’t these speed limits apply even when workers aren’t present? Unless posted, such as, reduced speeds apply only when workers are present, 25mph means 25mph…………..all the time.

I avoid that area altogether, taking whatever detours I need to stay clear. I live nearby, and it makes me a nervous wreck to see how many drivers plow right through with a little shrug and a “my bad” wave when they nearly kill one of the crew by getting impatient.

I say don”t give them a ticket- instead hand them a ‘slow’ sign and the yellow safety vest and and have them stand right next to the road in the construction zone for a shift. Maybe they would understand why it is so important to slow down.
