Please have enough common sense to not combine all suicides into one common grouping? Those for emotional unbalance, depression, drug or alcohol contributions, do not in any way resemble medically assisted suicides! How anyone could be so dense is beyond me. You may not agree with it, and you may even have religious convictions that oppose it, but for God’s sake look through the eyes of the victims who sometimes need this alternative! If you’ve never watched anyone close to you die a slow and agonizing death from cancer or other degenerative disease or disorder fine, perhaps you really do not understand. But then keep your opinions to yourself. There is a time and a place for allowing this decision to be made by people who have suffered more than most people can even envision. These people deserve the right to not suffer unnecessarily if they choose so! Drawing the line who should have this right might be difficult, but do not even suggest that no one deserves this right. That is complete ignorance!
