President Bresciani: You will “hit the ground running” in a very good place. You begin with virtually unanimous support from a large body of exceptional people. Everyone is ready to end this period of turmoil/transition and resume the task of making NDSU one of the best universities in the country.

I am overjoyed that Bresciani got the job. He will bring some objectivity to the problems on campus and I expect him to be a breath of fresh air!

Bresciani is a former VP for Student Affairs @ Texas A&M from 2004-2008. Currently he is an adjunct professor there. I can’t help being curious why he stepped down from the VP position. Is this common when you are looking for new employment?
