West Acres mall gets two new stores

Two new tenants will be coming to West Acres Regional Shopping Center in Fargo by the end of this year.
Forever 21, a clothing and accessories retailer, will move into the Sears wing, filling the former Walgreens and two adjoining spaces.
The Finish Line, which carries name-brand athletic shoes, apparel and accessories, plans to open its store in August. Continue reading…
The two stores that are coming in aren’t of much interest to me, since they sound so youth oriented. I am however excited about Apricot Lane. It would be nice to know what type of store that is, guess I’ll have to Google it. I’m glad West Acres (remember when they used to call it “wasted acres”?) is doing well. Other malls definitely are not so lucky, like Westridge Mall in Fergus Falls. I think that one is practically abandoned!

According to their Web site, Apricot Lane looks kind of youth-oriented, too, but not too bad. And they carry Steve Madden shoes. I’m there!

I miss a bookstore, and would shop at West Acres MUCH more often if they had a discount store of some sort.
